We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

You’ll have the accountability to support the trade & category planning managers in their implementation of 4P strategy across specific categories and channels, executing business growth plans as set by the Sales Leadership Team. Playing a key role in the Sales team, you will oversee the achievement of 4P excellence across key customers.

Sales at Reckitt Benckiser is challenging and rewarding career path in which you will translate solid marketing plans into sales executions. These strategic projects will involve developing Shopper Insights that can be translated into 4P in store executions.

Your responsibilities

Category Management:

  • Support the development of category merchandising guidelines in consultation with the trade & category planning managers that delivers outperformance value to MJN and partnering customers
  • Manage category captaincy projects as the primary MJN contact with our strategic customers from end-to-end to influence improvements in the categories’ range and space to achieve win-win results in sales with the customer. End-to-end includes conducting category, space and range reviews, customer education on category management, planogramming and supervising implementation at the store.
  • Be the primary MJN contact for other general customers during their category review periods including planogram development and implementation.

Market & Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data (internal & external), key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics to identify insights & opportunities for recommendation in-store actions aimed at strengthening MJN’s position within categories.
  • Monthly reporting of standard data (nielsen vs scan sales) with insights

  • Solid background in sales or marketing with a proven track record of crafting compelling customer marketing actions.
  • Sharp commercial instinct and a deep understanding of the Customer Management Process.
  • Analyses various data sources with ease, converting them into measurable and actionable plans.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
  • Proficient in using Syndicated Data (e.g., Nielsen / IRI) and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant category management software.
