A local allied health service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Case Coordinator to facilitate client relations and support an experienced Australian allied health team. This role involves managing client coordination, ensuring service delivery aligns with care plans, and liaising with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coordination and communication and a keen interest in international healthcare standards. We are seeking a motivated and organised Case Coordinator to join our growing allied health service. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced Australian allied health team, supporting best-practice service delivery under the Australian Age Care framework, while being based locally.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, communication, and cross-border collaboration, and who wants exposure to international healthcare standards without being in a clinical role.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, families, and carers
Conduct intake and onboarding of new clients
Coordinate service schedules across allied health disciplines (OT, Physio, Speech, etc.)
Ensure services align with individual care plans and goals
Support allied health professionals in implementing therapy plans
Monitor progress against goals and flag issues to clinicians
Coordinate reviews, reassessments, and follow-ups
Ensure services are delivered within approved funding and scope
Understand and apply funding rules and price guides
Track budgets, service utilisation, and funding limits
Assist with service agreements, consent forms, and documentation
Ensure compliance with organizational policies
Liaise with:
Allied health clinicians
Support coordinators
Builders / equipment suppliers
Hospitals, GPs, schools, community services
Coordinate multidisciplinary case meetings
Facilitate referrals and handovers
Manage appointments, cancellations, and clinician allocation
Coordinate home visits, clinic visits, and telehealth services
Ensure timely equipment delivery or home modification works
Resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently
Maintain accurate client records and case notes
Assist clinicians with reports, progress updates, and funding submissions
Track outcomes, risks, and incidents
Prepare documentation for audits and reviews
Identify risks, safeguarding issues, and service gaps
Escalate concerns according to clinical governance protocols
Support incident reporting and follow-up actions
Ensure duty of care obligations are met
Collect client feedback and support service improvements
Support implementation of policies, procedures, and best practice
Contribute to continuous quality improvement activities
Support allied health teams with non-clinical administration
Assist with billing coordination and service claims
Support training coordination and onboarding of staff
