Job Summary
Responsible for the overall daily operations of the café and bar, including staff management, customer service standards, inventory control, sales performance and ensuring smooth front-of-house and bar operations. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café and bar operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Lead, train, schedule and supervise the service team and bar staff
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering, supplier coordination and stock control
- Ensure bar beverage quality, café product consistency and hygiene standards
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and service recovery when required
- Manage cash handling, POS accuracy and daily sales reporting
- Support promotional activities, upselling and revenue growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, food handling and licensing requirements
- Monitor cost control, wastage, staffing efficiency and operational KPIs
Requirements
- Proven experience in café, bar, restaurant or retail F&B management
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Good understanding of customer service and operational standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and resolve issues promptly
- Knowledge of beverages, café operations or bar service is an advantage
- Willing to work weekends, shifts and peak business hours
- Basic administrative and reporting abilities (POS, inventory, scheduling)
