Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Selangor is seeking a CAD Designer/BIM Modeller with at least 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will create detailed 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings using Autocad, Revit, and Naviswork. Responsibilities also include collaboration with the project management team to develop 3D models and periodic reviews of designs. A diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication for project-based work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as CAD Designer/BIM Modeller.
• Experience in process plant and general contracting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings using Autocad, Revit, and Naviswork.
• Collaborate to create 3D models of proposed layouts.
• Revise drawings and specifications periodically.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To create detailed 2D, 3D & isometric drawings design for complex project by using Autocad, Revit & Naviswork;
• Collaborate with staff to create 3D models of proposed layouts;
• Keep up to date on industry and engineering standards;
• Perform other duties as assigned including periodic reviews of drawings and specifications;
• Generate and revise detailed 2D plans and elevations, and 3D perspective views;
• Ad-hoc drawing revision & modifications.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline;
• At least 2 years experience as CAD Designer/BIM Modeller;
• Similar experience in process plant & general contracting;
• Familiar with Revit, Naviswork, Autocad Plant 3D and Autocad 2D;
• Maintain communication with the project management team and engineers;
• Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems;
• Will be project based and allocated at site office;
• Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions;
