What you will deliver
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of SAP Ariba buying channels, which will support Auto-PO transactions and price compliance outcomes. You will work cross-functionally within the Procurement S2C organization to identify Auto-PO opportunities, qualify those opportunities, and coordinate delivery activities belonging to various implementation teams.
Key responsibilities
- Identify Suppliers / Commodities that are a good fit for buying channel implementation - working with spend data for existing suppliers and with our Category / Sourcing teams for incoming suppliers.
- Build a delivery funnel of SAP Ariba buying channels to be implemented (catalogs, custom forms, invoice against contract) that enable Auto-PO transactions and price compliance.
- Facilitate delivery activities belonging to various Procurement teams (Category, Sourcing, Contract, Technology) to ensure that technical, business requirements are met at each stage of our internal workflow - e.g. Ensure contracts in SAP Ariba Contract Workspace are accurately structured and mapped to support downstream Auto-PO and price compliance outcomes.
- Monitor measures of success - e.g. Auto-PO transaction rates, Buying channel utilization rates, Price compliance rates, User navigation behaviours, User search behaviours. Use these insights to identify and drive opportunities for improvement.
- Drive buying channel adoption - interpret SAP Ariba utilization identify areas where adoption is lagging, and drive change via communication and engagement.
- Establish self as the subject matter expert on Ariba buying channel use cases, technical requirements, technical constraints, and deliver training and ongoing guidance to internal users. Stay current on SAP Ariba technical developments and procedures, and make recommendations to our Procurement teams where necessary.
Skillset requirements
- Tech development: Experience with technology development lifecycle is a must - defining requirements, building backlog, and delivering product.
- Communication & Collaboration: Clear communicator who can successfully communicate with stakeholders, and external suppliers, at various levels of positional authority.
- Analytical Attitude: Capability in data analysis, data interpretation and performance tracking for Procurement metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
Experience requirements
- 3 - 5 years in roles with relevant scopes of work.
Academic requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university.
You will work with
Regional Supply Chain Planning teams, S&OP managers and S&OE delivery leads across the regions, along with local Sales and Marketing teams and colleagues.
