A prominent recruitment firm in Selangor seeks a skilled Business Unit Manager to define and implement growth strategies that align with business goals. The role involves managing a team, overseeing project finances, and leading technology developments while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in sales or business development within Asia, including 5 years in senior management, and is fluent in English.
Define and implement a growth strategy that aligns with our long term business goals.
Build a competent team to manage and execute it. You’ll lead five direct reports (team managers), while indirectly overseeing around 30 staff across 4 locations.
Take ownership over P&L, focusing on the top line, project net margin, and controlling fixed costs.
You plan and manage budgets and capacity for both the short and long term.
Oversee project finances, including contracts, gross margin, and overall financial management.
Lead technology development initiatives while assessing and managing associated risks.
Facilitate clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Be part of the Management team and report to the CEO.
Build an open and constructive cooperation with the Executive Team based in HQ in Europe, centralized services and other co units.
Deep local roots (SE-Asia), an international educational background and large regional professional experiences.
A major career path in sales or business development, of which minimum 10 years in Asia
Experience in project business (B2B), of which 5 years in a senior management position in an international environment.

The ability to work fluently in English, both spoken & written.
