Qualifications
Requirements

Education: University degree or comparable in IT

Experience
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and exceptional faculty of expression
  • At least 10 years of working experience in Software Engineering areas, preferably in a large MNC
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience to guide an international team through a strategic transformation process
  • International working experience, cross‑cultural competence and remote working leadership capabilities
  • Profound experience in customer, stakeholder and people management
  • In-depth understanding of how to digitize and optimize processes

Excellent knowledge of Mercedes‑Benz brand and IT products

Specific knowledge
  • Proactive and autonomous way of working, steering in a highly structured way
  • High self‑motivation, resilience and prioritization capabilities in volatile IT environment
  • Well‑developed communication & negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Technical background across a wide range of technologies, particularly software engineering, in order to be able to communicate with the teams in their language
  • Good understanding of various industry standard agile practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Ability to build good relationships with colleagues at all hierarchical levels and in different roles to find access
