Business Service Support Engineer for Data Migration (Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the BSS migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmap.
• Assess the existing BSS landscape, identify potential risks, and establish mitigation plans.
• Define migration methodologies, including cutover strategies, rollback plans, and data validation processes.

Stakeholder Communication & Leadership

• Act as the primary point of contact for all BSS migration activities, ensuring clear communication with key stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and status updates with internal teams, external vendors, and senior leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to teams involved in the migration process.

Data Migration & Validation

• Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to define transformation rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes.
• Conduct post‑migration testing and performance analysis to ensure system stability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the BSS migration.
• Develop contingency plans and implement issue resolution mechanisms to address unexpected challenges.
