A leading global IT services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative. The successful candidate will focus on B2B sales, develop strategies to acquire new clients, and manage the full sales cycle. With a minimum of 2-3 years in B2B sales, especially in software or IT, the role requires strong communication and negotiation skills. We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with a strong passion for B2B sales in the IT software industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential business clients, building long-term partnerships, and driving growth through consultative software solution selling.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new B2B clients across various industries
Identify key decision-makers and establish strong professional relationships with corporate clients
Conduct prospecting, cold calling, and product presentations to generate qualified leads
Understand clients’ business challenges and propose suitable software solutions that meet their needs
Work closely with the technical and marketing teams to craft proposals and deliver tailored presentations
Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in software, SaaS, or IT solutions
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client accounts
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
