We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive property onboarding and partnership growth across multiple locations in Malaysia.
Business Development & Property Acquisition
Plan and oversee business development efforts within assigned areas or clusters
Identify and onboard new hotel and property partners that meet OYO’s standards
Pitch OYO’s partnership model and value proposition to property owners
Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements
Achieve onboarding and acquisition targets within defined timelines
Highly active in outdoor / field sales, including property visits and face-to-face negotiations
Partner & Revenue Growth Management
Work closely with revenue management team to drive top-line revenue growth
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with property owners
Support partners to ensure alignment with OYO’s standards and performance expectations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, pricing, customer support, finance)
Ensure smooth onboarding and day-to-day operations of partner properties
Act as the main liaison between partners and internal stakeholders
Market Expansion & Insights
Identify new growth opportunities and untapped markets
Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support business strategy
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or acquisitions
(B2B experience is highly preferred)
Strong outdoor / field sales capability with proven closing ability
Accustomed to working under pressure and meeting acquisition or sales targets
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Good analytical and numerical skills
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Immediate joiners or short notice candidates are highly preferred
Open to candidates based in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Sarawak, Ipoh, Kuantan & Melaka.
