Business Development Manager - Industrial Lubricant MNC
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while supporting a strong distributor/wholesaler network.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners in industrial, electrical, hardware, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Secure major end‑user accounts in environments such as automotive maintenance, mid‑to‑high‑tech manufacturing, and industrial facilities.
  • Provide product training, joint field visits, and performance reviews to enhance channel capability.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies focused on new customer acquisition and market expansion.
  • Deliver product demos, technical consultations, and application‑based solutions to support customer needs.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, manage pipeline activity, and ensure proper CRM documentation.
  • Lead proposals, bids, and RFQs in collaboration with distributors and partners.

A successful Business Development Manager should:

  • Hold a degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Bring 8+ years of business development or technical sales experience within Malaysia, ideally in MRO products, specialty chemicals, industrial lubricants, adhesives, or similar industrial solutions.
  • Strong channel management experience working with industrial, automotive, hardware, or electrical distributors.
  • A natural hunter with strong commercial drive, resilience, and the ability to operate independently.
  • Technical aptitude with an understanding of industrial maintenance processes and solutions selling.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
