Job summary

A prominent manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned professional to lead growth strategies and manage export sales. The role requires developing new business and enhancing client relationships to meet sales targets. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of FMCG export sales experience and familiarity with the Australian and Singaporean markets. Strong capabilities in managing the sales cycle and a commercial mindset are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Develop growth strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
  • Develop new business and customers to achieve the sales target and profit margin.
  • Develop client relationships that improve client satisfaction and retention rates through consistent client engagement.
  • Service newly secured accounts before gradually taking over by Resource Unit Department.
  • Perform customer visits regularly and update customer needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that approved new customers are credit-worthy and financially stable.
  • Other minor or ad-hoc activity or function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree / master's in business management, Sales and Marketing's, or related field.
  • 10+ years of solid export sales experience FMCG manufacturing will be advantage.
  • Proven exposure to Australia, Singapore preferably.
  • Ability to build markets, not just manage existing accounts
  • Strong commercial mindset, owning the full sales cycle : customers, pricing, coordination with Ops, and follow-through
  • Brings sales relevance, market intelligence, and structureto the role
