About Us

Top-A is an established plastic injection moulding manufacturer with over 32 years of experience.
We operate a wide range of 200T to 900T injection moulding machines, producing functional and structural plastic components for long-term manufacturing programs.

As part of our next phase, we are strengthening our business development capability to expand into additional growth sectors and improve factory utilisation, productivity, and business quality.

The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop new customers and new projects that fit our machine capabilities, production planning, and margin requirements.

This role focuses on new business only and requires strong judgement in selecting projects that are operationally suitable and commercially sustainable.

Target Focus Areas

The role will focus on identifying and developing opportunities such as:

  • Electrical & Electronics (E&E) housings and enclosures
  • Large functional or structural plastic parts
  • Other non-seasonal plastic products suitable for mid-to-large tonnage machines
Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customers and new sectors suitable for 200T–750T machines

  • Prospect and qualify projects based on:
  • Volume and repeatability
  • Tooling and machine suitability
  • Production stability and schedulability
  • Coordinate RFQs with engineering and costing teams
  • Drive RFQs to award or close decisively
  • Support awarded projects through SOP planning and clean handover to operations
  • Provide market, pricing, and competitor insights to management
What This Role Is NOT

No independent pricing authority

This role exists to build future manufacturing programs, not to manage day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in:

  • Plastic injection moulding
  • Industrial, E&E, automotive, or OEM manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience in new business or project development
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Injection moulding processes
  • Tooling and product life cycles
  • Medium to large tonnage machines (200T–900T)
  • Commercially disciplined, structured, and margin-aware
  • Comfortable working directly with senior management and technical teams
