A leading electronics company in Penang is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales initiatives and manage customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years in NPI or engineering sales support. Responsibilities include market analysis, client relationship management, and leading the business development process from marketing to quality. Japanese proficiency (N4 or higher) is required. This role offers an opportunity to develop existing relationships and explore new business opportunities.
Perform effective market analysis and develop winning business development strategy Drive sales initiatives and new design win effectively to meet/exceed sales target. Manage Sales Performance and Customer Satisfaction indicator with effective trigger of action plan for timely gap closure.
Responsible for the full spectrum of business development functions.
Lead Business Development process from marketing->quotation ->design finalization->prototype->NPI->quality
To monitor market trend & develop market analysis/strategies, discovering and exploring new business opportunities.
Plan and strategize current business operation against new and future business model.
Responsible for providing leadership and vision in the sales functions and ensuring that all plans and programs are effectively implemented.
Foster strong working relationship between the customers and the production team.
Develop new and maintain existing relationships to secure major accounts, providing quotes to clients as well as product information as requested.
Participate in new product development and prototype build.
Work with Engineering/QA to continuously improve process yield and quality level.
Ensure deliveries of sales KPI and play an active role in sales forecasting & reports.
Conduct market research and analysis.
Fulfil the Management Objectives assigned to you within the stipulated time.
To undertake any other business-related assignments as and when required.
