A leading personal care company in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Business Development Executive to drive retail growth and establish B2B partnerships. The role involves store expansions, account management, and market visits. Ideal candidates are passionate about retail with good communication skills and a learning mindset. Support Jolicare’s offline retail growth by assisting with B2B retail partnerships, in-store merchandising, promotions, and market analysis. Gain hands-on FMCG retail experience while learning how brands collaborate with retailers to drive sales and product visibility.
Retail Expansion & Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly store expansion targets.
Account Management & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to ensure continuous collaboration.
Negotiation & Deal Closing: Negotiate pricing, promotional support, and in-store placement to maximize brand visibility.
Store Campaigns & Promotions: Work closely with marketing and retail partners to develop promotional materials, product displays, and sampling activities.
Market Visits & Competitor Checks: Visit stores, observe competitors, collect customer insights, and share your observations
Retail Execution & Merchandising: Check in-store displays, product visibility, and assist partners in proper stocking
Promotions & A&P Support: Help run promotions with retail partners (Guardian, Watsons, Health Lane, Alpro) and track results
Market Visits & Competitor Checks: Visit stores, observe competitors, collect customer insights, and share your observations
Reporting & Operations: Support reporting, assist in processing orders, and help with ad-hoc sales tasks
Interested in retail, FMCG, sales, or brand management
Good communication skills and a positive, learning mindset
Comfortable with store visits, fieldwork, and light travel
Organized, responsible, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
