Job description

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team at KETECH ASIA SDN. BHD. in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This full-time role to support the company's business growth by preparing tenders, sourcing suppliers, and identifying new business opportunities in line with company objective in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review and submit tender documents for government, GLC, and private sector projects
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of potential tender opportunities and manage the end to end tender process
  • Ensure all tender submissions comply with client requirements, company standards, and industry regulations
  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
  • Attend to clients needs and respond to suppliers concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Maintain strong relationships with client, suppliers, and internal department
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
  • Prepare regular reports on tender activities and pipeline progress
  • Participate in meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required
  • Achieve KPIs related to tender preparation, supplier sourcing, information gathering, and business development

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in tender preparation and supplier sourcing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of identifying, pursuing and winning high-value tenders or contracts
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with and influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills to manage a busy pipeline of activities
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
