Motorist Malaysia is looking for a Business Development Executive who can think strategically, sell confidently, and build relationships that drive real growth. This role blends partner acquisition, commercial strategy, and network performance improvement across the West Malaysia automotive ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Acquisition
    • Identify and secure new ecosystem partners using automotive market knowledge, research, and outreach.
    • Run effective cold‑calling, field sales, and partnership presentations.
    • Onboard partners seamlessly, ensuring fast activation and measurable engagement.
  • Partner Growth & Engagement
    • Build strong, long‑term relationships with key partners.
    • Understand partner business challenges and deploy tailored growth strategies to increase successful car transactions.
  • Partner Performance Reviews
    • Use internal analytics and KPI dashboards to evaluate partner activity and performance.
    • Develop and execute improvement plans to increase transaction metrics and engagement rates.
    • Work with Sales and Operations to resolve partner issues fast.
    • Lead broader strategic initiatives to strengthen partner outcomes and commercial alignment.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven direct sales experience (2+ years minimum), with automotive industry exposure a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable interpreting KPIs, market trends, and partner performance data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken + written).
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and resourceful with a track record of delivering successful initiatives.
  • A team player who contributes to shared goals and celebrates collective wins.
  • The ability to travel across West Malaysia when required
    • Must have personal transport
