Job summary

A renewable energy organization in Malaysia is expanding and seeking a Business Development Executive. This role involves client engagement, market research, and communication support to management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and Malay, have experience in client relations, and ideally hold a degree in Business or a related field. Qualifications

Our projects include working with government agencies, GLCs, corporates, and international partners across green‑tech innovation, road infrastructure, and specialised engineering solutions.

We are expanding and looking for a high‑calibre Business Development Executive who can represent the company professionally, build strong client rapport, and support our growth strategy.

1. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Attend meetings, events, site visits, conferences, and networking sessions with clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain rapport with government agencies, GLCs, corporate clients, and suppliers.
  • Manage client follow‑up, scheduling, updates, and relationship touchpoints.
2. Business Development Support
  • Assist in preparing proposals, company profiles, pitch decks, and capability statements.
  • Coordinate internal inputs from technical, finance, and operations teams.
  • Monitor and update tender/RFP pipelines, leads, next actions, and BD trackers.
3. Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct research on tenders, industry trends, competitors, pricing benchmarks, and potential customers.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with ministries, corporates, universities, and technical partners.
4. Communication & Presentation
  • Draft letters, briefing notes, talking points, and business messages for senior management.
  • Support CEO and Head of BD with strategic communication and engagement materials.
  • Ensure all presentation materials are polished, accurate, and professional.
