Job summary

A leading intellectual property firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Marketing and Sales Executive. The role involves providing intellectual property consultation services, strategizing sales and marketing efforts, and ensuring effective client communications. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in sales and marketing, possess strong communication skills, and be flexible to meet diverse client needs. This position requires fluency in English and the ability to manage tasks independently, with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in sales and marketing.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Own transport will be required for this role.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following

To provide intellectual property consultation services include but not limited to IP registrations, valuations, market access and IP commercialisation services.

Strategize sales and marketing plan.

Execute all activities within the marketing department and handle marketing communications for the company. Maintain and update marketing materials.

Implement marketing strategies and plans in alignment with the company's direction.

Provide support and client-focused consultative service users

To monitor & plan for a social media marketing campaign

To work closely with the designer to make sure all marketing materials are well prepared

To assist & coordinate in all sales activities

To propose and execute sales & marketing strategies to uplift sales volume.

To assist the CEO/CO, Business Development Director in client handling matters.

Good in follow-up work with clients and a strong sense of urgency in responding to clients’ inquiries.

To meet clients and handle their inquiries independently.

Maintain good relationships with customers at all times.

Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior or management from time to time

Collaborate with other departments on administrative tasks, billing, and invoicing questions whenever needed

Preparation of various presentations as required.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred.

Candidate must possess at least a SPM/ STPM / Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Marketing, Business Studies/Administration/Management/ Finance/ Degree in LLB or equivalent. All qualifications will be considered.

At least 1 year of working experiencein sales and marketing.

Excellent writing, phone handling, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Active listening skills and ability to tailor approach based on client needs

Analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

Ability to be flexible and adaptable based on customers’ and business needs

Well organized and strong attentiveness to detail
