Role Summary

The Business Development Executive plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth by identifying business opportunities, coordinating leasing and commercial activities, and supporting e-commerce, marketing, and outlet operations. This role requires a proactive, hands‑on individual who is comfortable working across multiple functions and contributing to both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day execution. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer and tenant experience, and support the overall business development objectives of the company.

Job Description
Leasing & Tenant Management
  • Source and identify potential tenants for the building.
  • Attend to leasing enquiries and conduct timely follow‑ups.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support leasing strategies.
  • Manage tenant documentation and liaise closely with the legal team.
  • Meet with tenants and negotiate rental terms and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Maintain and improve the overall tenant and mall living environment.
E-Commerce Operations
  • Handle daily online orders received via WhatsApp and other platforms.
  • Upload and manage new product listings on the website.
  • Maintain and manage website frontend and backend systems to ensure smooth operations.
Marketing & Digital Presence
  • Assist in executing digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Assist in managing and creating digital content.
  • Assist in overseeing and maintaining regular postings across social media platforms.
Advertising & Promotions (A&P)
  • Assist in monitoring designers’ workflow, progress, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and post job offers or promotional materials on social media platforms.
Ad-Hoc Task
  • Assist in handling ad-hoc requests and operations coordination as required.
Qualifications
  • 0-3 years relevant working experience.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • Basic design skills (e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe AI) will be an additional point.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and social media management.
  • Able to multitask and work cross‑functionally with operations, legal, and marketing teams.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable in a fast‑paced retail environment.
