Job description

Your key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to analyse, understand, and document complex business processes, data analysis, functional requirements, and technology needs, in the form of functional specifications.
• Evaluate existing workflows and processes, recommend and design improvements that balance business efficiency, technology enablement, and data insights, supporting digital transformation and operational excellence.
• Utilize technical background and analytical skills to interpret data relevant to business operations. Support the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of technology solutions, incorporating data exploration and visualization to enhance decision-making without deep data engineering across the project lifecycle.
• Be part, lead and inspire project teams through all phases—workshops, design sessions, development, and adoption—ensuring quality, timely delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Provide coaching to junior team members and foster a collaborative culture.
• Design and conduct workshops and training programs to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes, driving sustainable business transformation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business process maps, functional specifications, and user guides. Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong foundation in engineering complemented by business consulting expertise, particularly in the energy industry (a significant plus).
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, data-driven technology solutions.
• Proficiency in stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation, support to technology adoption, and managing multifunctional teams in dynamic environments.
• Experience with business, system and data architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management approaches.

To qualify for the role, you must have
