Job description

The Digital Health Accelerator (DHA) is led by A*STAR, Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore, SingHealth, National Healthcare Group (NHG), and National University Health System (NUHS). DHA supports innovators in driving adoption and scaling of market ready or near-market ready digital health solutions. DHA is hosted by Singapore's Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub).

The DHA Solutions and Business Analyst is responsible for diligencing potential Digital Health Accelerator projects by evaluating the innovation, understanding where they fit into the broader market and identifying and assessing competitors and/or substitutes. He/She will employ a variety of research techniques to achieve this objective including secondary and primary market research and the use of expert networks.

The DHA Solutions and Business Analyst will likely have prior entry-level experience in strategic marketing or consulting in the Digital Health space.

Description:

  • Understand clinical and operational use cases and problem statements.
  • Perform market scans for available solutions.
  • Perform initial assessment of solution fit using secondary research techniques.
  • Validate solution fit using primary market research techniques.
  • Perform checks to assess leadership teams and financial viability of solution providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in business administration or consulting.
  • Familiar with secondary market research techniques and tools including digital health related resources and databases.
  • Familiar with primary market research techniques including use of expert networks.
  • Able to perform basic financial analysis (revenue and gross margin analysis, valuation based on comparables).
