We’re looking for a sharp and customer-obsessed Business Analyst to help shape the future of our insurance tech products. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to turn complex insurance processes and client needs into clear, actionable specifications. You care deeply about the user experience – always asking: “Is this intuitive? Does it solve a real problem? Does it create value for my client?” You combine strong insurance domain knowledge with a keen product mindset, helping us deliver solutions that are both technically sound and truly valuable to the end user.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Management & Analysis
    • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
    • Analyze current business processes and identify functional gaps.
    • Draft detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.
    • Maintain traceability, manage scope changes, and drive sign-offs.
  • Product Development Support
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to shape the roadmap and prioritize features.
    • Translate business needs into developer‑ready requirements.
    • Provide insights from market research and data analysis to guide product decisions.
    • Participate in solution architecture and design discussions.
    • Ensure every feature aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Client Engagement & Implementation
    • Lead discovery sessions and client workshops.
    • Document custom configurations and oversee implementation.
    • Support pre‑sales with technical input and product demos.
    • Coordinate client onboarding, UAT, and training.
  • Process Optimization & Digital Transformation
    • Analyze and redesign insurance workflows using tigerlab tools.
    • Identify automation opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives.
    • Define and share best practices for recurring insurance use cases.
    • Support internal and external digital transformation goals.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Own the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle: functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
    • Create test plans, coordinate testing, and lead defect triage.
    • Define QA standards and mentor junior team members.
    • Ensure delivery quality meets business and client expectations.
  • Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
    • Conduct data analysis to inform product development and operational decisions.
    • Design KPI frameworks and build dashboards for stakeholders.
    • Monitor usage patterns to uncover optimization opportunities.
    • Support cross‑team decision‑making with data‑driven insights.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams.
    • Drive alignment across functions and manage stakeholder expectations.
    • Present insights and project updates to leadership.
    • Build trusted relationships across clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analysis, Statistics, or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in insurance or financial services
    • Proven track record of managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships
    • Experience with software implementation or product development projects
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced proficiency in business process modeling (BPMN, UML)
    • Strong skills in requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence)
    • Experience with data analysis methods
    • Comprehensive testing experience including test planning, execution, and automation tools
    • Understanding of API concepts, integration patterns, and digital platforms
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
    • Experience with insurance management systems or similar enterprise software
    • Possesses user experience and design thinking skills to understand client problems and design optimal, comprehensive solutions, including eliciting needs to craft effective outcomes.
  • Domain Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of insurance industry processes (underwriting, policy administration, claims)
    • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
    • Understanding of digital transformation challenges in insurance
    • Familiarity with insurance technology trends and market dynamics
