Job summary

A building management company in Selangor is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance repairs and services. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in building maintenance and M&E systems. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, along with a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, is essential. This role includes preventive maintenance, emergency response, and contractor monitoring.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs & services
• Perform basic rectification and servicing works to electrical, mechanical & plumbing equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical & electrical equipment on a scheduled basis
• Respond and attend to tenants' emergency maintenance request
• Assist in monitoring all works being performed by outsourced contractors
• Assist in monitoring & maintaining all building systems as assigned
• Responsible for alerting Superior/ Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in building maintenance & services, M&E systems repairs and services
• Ability to communicate fluently in BM and English
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge and skills in safety awareness.
