Job description
Responsibilities
  • Produce 1 social media reel, 1 social media static post and 1 social media story a week, prioritizing major campaigns and events at the hotel (12 posts a month).
  • Use the social media response template to monitor and respond to any queries on Pullman Kuching’s social media channels to ensure engagement, promote active followers, and monitor sentiments on social media.
  • Update website landing pages with special offers, updated photos, or latest news on the hotel renovation as required.
  • Refresh F&B collaterals including menus, signs, brochures, flyers as needed at the outlets, maintaining Pullman brand standards.
  • Assist on Competitor Analysis by tracking key competitors’ social media growth and posts, digital advertising tactics, major events, and PR coverages on a weekly basis.
  • Develop VIP briefing documents, PR new article drafts, FAQs and write emcee speeches as required when there are events at the hotel.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on the organization of quarterly thematic events to drive Pullman Kuching’s engagement with media + influencers and CSR activities.
  • Build on-site case studies every big successful event with photos, videos, behind the scenes b-rolls and testimonial interviews so there is an archive for award submissions, social media posts, and evergreen content.
  • Be on standby as required when big events or VIPs arrive at the hotel to take photos and videos, greet guests, or assist as needed.
  • Develop weekly and monthly reporting slides detailing performance updates such as social media performance, calendar of posts planned, agency WIP updates, and marketing collaterals progress.
  • Using the influencer framework, evaluate the influencer sponsorship requests and submit evaluation to the marketing and sales team for further action.
  • Using the crisis framework, prepare ad hoc holding statements and FAQs in case of crises.
  • Greets visiting influencers, journalists and top VIPs upon arrival at the hotel, hosts them when necessary, and provides them with story ideas about the hotel.
  • Maintains up-to-date digital archive of marketing collaterals, social media calendars, marketing assets, etc.
  • Responsible for following up on purchase requisitions and invoice documentation to ensure payments are made on time to marketing vendors and everything has a digital copy in archive.
  • Ensure timely listings of F&B outlet festive promotions are seeded out to media via the agency by liaising with internal F&B operations team.
  • Maintains the media and influencer mailing list for press seedings, event invitations, and dissemination of updates as required.
  • Upholds Pullman Brand standards across physical and digital collaterals and refreshes them as required by the hotel.
Specification
  • Possess degree in Marketing Communications, Public Relations or other related fields.
  • Must have at least 1 year of working experience in similar capacity.
  • Has an excellent organizational and communicative skill.
  • Initiative, eye for details and a team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments.
  • Resourceful, flexible and responsive in dealing with people.
Replacement and temporary mission
  • He/She is employed in the Sales, Marketing & Revenue Division and as such he/She may be assigned to any area that the management deems suitable and necessary.
  • In his/her absence, the Branding Executive may be replaced first by Asst Branding Manager or PR Executive appointed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • The Branding Executive may be called upon to undertake activities outside his/her own area and to publicize hotels other than his/her own.
  • The Branding Executive may be called upon and undertake to assist another Director of Sales & Marketing in the opening or general sales effort of any other of the chain’s hotels.
