Job Summary

The Manager of Branding and Marketing will lead Mirxes’ regional and global marketing strategy, with a strong focus on branding, commercial enablement, and thought leadership in the field of early cancer detection. Based in Malaysia, this role partners closely with the APAC leadership team to ensure strategic alignment, impactful execution, and consistent messaging to all stakeholders — from customers to government partners.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and deploy regional and global marketing strategies in alignment with Mirxes’ commercial and brand objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and collaboration across APAC in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans.
  • Lead the regional commercial marketing plan to support business growth across customer segments and geographies.
  • Identify future business needs and innovation opportunities to drive long‑term growth in the region.

Branding and Communications

  • Oversee brand positioning and visual identity, ensuring scientific credibility and alignment with global standards.
  • Lead integrated communications strategies, including PR, media relations, digital and social media, corporate affairs, and government relations.
  • Ensure communications support commercial objectives and branding strategy while managing budgets effectively.

Product Marketing and Launch Excellence

  • Drive go‑to‑market strategies, product positioning, and launch planning across the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, operations, regulatory, commercial) to support product launches and campaigns.
  • Develop marketing and sales enablement tools (e.g., training materials, messaging, presentations).

Customer and Market Insights

  • Gather deep customer and market insights through research, field visits, and engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Provide input to global product strategy and value proposition development based on local insights.

Commercial and Channel Enablement

  • Lead partner and channel marketing, ensuring alignment with in‑country commercial and marketing teams.
  • Support distributor and partner engagement through regional campaigns, programs, and thought leadership content.

Team and Stakeholder Leadership

  • Provide inspirational leadership to a matrixed marketing team across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with senior global leaders, regional commercial heads, and external partners.
  • Represent Mirxes at key industry events, conferences, and strategic stakeholder engagements.
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • 8 years and above marketing experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or related sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in brand management, commercial marketing, and go‑to‑market execution across diverse APAC markets.
  • Experience with P&L or business unit leadership is a plus.

Deep understanding of both B2B and B2C healthcare marketing dynamics.

Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and public presentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
