A leading FMCG company in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated brand/product advocate for a marketing role. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in brand marketing, particularly in the FMCG/Consumer Goods/Food industry, and will be responsible for implementing marketing initiatives and managing a product portfolio. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential. If you are results-driven and able to translate data into actionable insights, this opportunity could be for you.
We're looking for a sharp, energetic, results-driven person who can manage and lead our Principal's/Agencies Brand products objectives, into successful on-the-ground marketing initiatives, directly impacting our bottom line. As the primary liaison person, you will be the connector, executor, and custodian for a designated product portfolio.
Responsibilities :
Formulate and implement all marketing activities in line with the Company’s overall direction and Principal’s marketing parameters to support the business growth.
Work closely with branches and key accounts on implementation of A&P activities and feedback to Principal on the key learnings.
Do the necessary improvement for the plans for future activities to maximize the sales growth.
Track, coordinate and ensure claims documentation to Principal on all A&P expenses and other agreed expenditures.
Keep a proper record of all A&P expenses to measure against the approved budgets.
Ensure timely submission of all A&P expenditures to Principal.
Conduct monthly business review with Principal on performance, market activities and key target issues.
With guidance from immediate superior, communicate to Principal on all marketing matters pertaining negotiation, product launches and promotion program etc.
Liaison person between branches and Principal on all operational matters.
Obtain regular feedback from branches on all operational matters such as progress update on execution, pricing monitory, inventory, competitor’s activities etc to ensure seamless activity.
Prepare alternative plans to act if necessary.
Manage the designated product portfolio in terms of sales and operation marketing activities.
Conduct regular market visits with branches to understand what is happening in the trade and study competitors’ activities.
Perform other related task as assigned.

Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar brand marketing/liaison role. Experience in the FMCG/Consumer Goods/Food industryand dealing directly with a Principal Brand Owners, is a MUST!
Education: A Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
Skills: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication (written & verbal) skills. High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is crucial & non-negotiable, for reporting and presentations.
Mindset:You are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic plans.
