Job description

As a BOM Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for driving cost savings across the Bill of Materials (BOM), managing supplier relationships and risks, and ensuring the effective implementation of procurement control plans and procedures. You will play a key role in optimizing procurement efficiency and supporting the company’s strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You Will Do:
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Enforce procurement policies and ensure all purchases comply with requirements.
  • Support procurement activities, including payment term negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Benchmark and formulate procurement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay updated on procurement trends, best practices, and supplier information.
  • Maintain purchasing system master data.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and source appropriate suppliers.
  • Measure and provide feedback on supplier performance.
  • Willingness to travel and work with global suppliers and teams.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in negotiations, pricing, and managing external suppliers/third parties.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and supply chain principles.
