Job description
What you’ll be doing

Operate and monitor utilities equipment including boiler, thermal heater, incinerator, cooling tower, chiller, and WWTP to ensure smooth and reliable performance.

Perform routine inspections, checks, and maintenance according to time-based schedules to maintain mechanical units in good working condition.

Attend equipment breakdowns promptly and coordinate repairs with the Maintenance team.

Handle hot surface and confined space work safely during maintenance or oil leak repair activities.

Monitor and record operating parameters for utilities and WWTP systems (gas, water, nitrogen, etc.) and ensure quality meets operational standards.

Treat distillate water from Tk407 and ensure discharge quality meets DOE Standard B requirements.

Conduct jar tests and chemical calibration for water treatment dosing and maintain cooling tower, boiler, and chiller water quality.

Support annual plant turnaround and shutdown activities as per schedule and participate in HAZOP, risk assessment, and improvement projects.

Coordinate with external service providers for WWTP sample analysis and stack monitoring.

Ensure no non-compliance of sewage discharge due to resin or solvent contamination; report any abnormality immediately.

Maintain and file operation logs, reports, and monitoring records in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Actively participate as HSE Committee member and ERT backup leader, ensuring adherence to company safety policies.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boilerman or in a similar industrial boiler operations role

Possess a valid Boiler Attendant’s Certificate (Grade 1) for operations and maintenance of industrial boilers·

Ability to work independently

Ability to operate boiler, compressor, chiller, thermal heaters, incinerator, cooling towers, nitrogen system and waste water treatment plant

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot boiler equipment

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the production team

Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
