Diagnose, repair, and maintain ICU equipment mainly ventilators, incubators radiant warmers, phototherapy light, experience in repairing endoscopes and dental chair. Perform both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
Identify and resolve technical issues in complex medical equipment using a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques. Provide detailed reports on the nature of the problem and the steps taken to resolve it.
Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and tested according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Document all calibration and testing procedures accurately.
Offer technical support and guidance to healthcare staff and facility maintenance teams regarding equipment operation, troubleshooting, and preventive care.
Adhere to all relevant safety standards, regulations, and protocols. Ensure that all repair and maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for repair tasks. Order new parts and supplies as needed and keep records of inventory usage.
Prepare detailed service reports, including descriptions of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent. Maintain accurate records of all equipment serviced.
