A medical equipment service company in Johor Bahru is looking for a technician to carry out the installation, repair, and maintenance of medical equipment. The ideal candidate should possess at least a diploma in Biomedical Engineering and have 1 year of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, a commitment to work, and the ability to work independently are essential. Candidates should also be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia and possess their own transport.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Plan, implement and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
• Identify and analyze equipment failures.
• Prepare calibration certificates for testers and analyzers.
• Ensure medical equipment is in good working condition.

Job description

To carry out installation, repair and maintenance of medical equipment

Able to do planning, implementing and monitoring Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule of medical equipment

Performing of appropriate testing and commissioning of medical equipment and prepare proper documentation

To identify and analyze equipment failures

To prepare calibration certificates for testers and analyzers

Ensure that the medical equipment is in good working condition and safe to be used

Carry out related task as required and able to multi-task

Requirements:

To be based in Johor Bahru

Must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent

1 year of working experience in the related field

Possess strong sense of responsibilities and commitment to work

Good communication skills and time management

Able to work independently with minimum supervision and self-discipline

Must be able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Possess own transport and willing to travel
