Job summary

A logistics company in Malaysia is looking for a Linehaul Supervisor to manage SOC operations. You will train linehaul loaders and ensure that the correct parcels are picked up following FIFO procedures. Additionally, you will oversee truck management upon arrival and departure from the SOC, assist in maintaining an organized workstation, and act as a backup supervisor as needed. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and maintain efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train SOC linehaul loader to ensure right parcels pick up from staging area following FIFO manner.
• Manage truck and driver upon truck arrival and departure, including seal tag handling.
• Assist linehaul supervisor in maintaining 5S at the workstation and staging area.
• Serve as backup Linehaul Supervisor when needed, handling operations solo.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage and train SOC linehaul loader to ensure right parcels pick up from staging area follow FIFO (first in first out) manner, scan all the parcels before they load into truck
• Manage truck and driver upon truck arrival at SOC/RC and departure from SOC/RC, including seal tag handling and management before truck leave the bay
• Assist linehaul supervisor to do 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) at the workstation & staging area to ensure the right parcel at the right staging
• Serve as backup Linehaul Supervisor when Linehaul supervisor not area, need to handlelinehauloperation on solo
