Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated individual to manage food service responsibilities, ensuring quality control and efficiency in operations. The role involves preparing and serving customer meals, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with supplier communication and inventory monitoring. The ideal candidate will adhere to all policies and participate in quality accreditation activities. This position requires strong attention to hygiene and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare customers' order and serve correctly.
  • Ensure all food items are monitored and under good quality control.
  • Assist in ordering and communicating with suppliers for related orders.
  • Assist in developing promotion related to D' Pattisserie.
  • Ensure all crockeries serve to the customers are clean and complete.
  • Maintain cleanliness of working area.
  • Ensure all waste is disposed on time in the right designated area.
  • Ensure all receipts are submitted to hospital cashier and closing is done as scheduled and recorded properly.
  • Participate directly in weekly and monthly inventory monitoring and report.
  • Participate in all quality accreditation activities (eg. JCI, MSQH, IMS, MSOSH, 5S, etc.)
  • Adhere to KPJ Standard People Practice (SPP).
  • All policies and procedures are adhered to and records are maintained.
  • Assist in any other responsibility as deemed necessary by Head of Dietetic & Food Services or Hospital Management.

Occupational Safety & Health

To carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations

1994:-

  • To take reasonable care for safety and health of his/herself and other persons who may be affected by his/her acts or omission al work.
  • To co-operate with Management of KJPSH in the discharge of any duty or requirement imposed on the Management by the Occupational Safely and Health Actor any Regulations made therein.
  • To wear or use al all times any personal protective equipment (PPE) or cloihing provided by the Management SSH for the purpose of preventing risks to his/her safety and health.
  • To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health Act or any Regulations made therein.
