Job description
AVP, Storage & Flexi Infra Administration
  • Administer and maintain Block, File, and Object storage.
  • Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity, and health.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform capacity planning.
  • Provision and allocate storage for servers, applications, and databases.
  • Ensure encryption at rest and in transit for critical data.
  • Implement and manage storage replication for disaster recovery.
  • Manage cloud-based resources such as AWS (EC2, S3), Azure (VMs, Blob), or Google Cloud.
  • Support hybrid cloud setups and assist with cloud migrations.
Documentation & SOPs
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for infrastructure designs, change logs, configurations, and recovery procedures.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Work with vendors for hardware/software support, upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal IT, application, and DevOps teams for resource planning and incident handling.
Testing & Development Support
  • Set up and maintain storage and infrastructure for dev/test environments.
  • Support QA/testing teams with cloning, snapshots, and data provisioning.
People and Talent
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in handling wide-ranging and senior stakeholders across segments/product areas.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk.
Governance Management
  • Gatekeeper of the technical solution delivery ensuring best practices and governance compliance.
  • Configure and provide technical support and incident response for IT security infrastructure components.
  • Ensure incidents are worked within the agreed SLA and adhere to incident management processes.
  • Escalate high‑priority issues to Incident managers.
Change Management
  • Create change records, draft implementation steps, and implement changes (break/fix and non‑break/fix).
  • Work with other support teams to identify root causes and perform technical RCA for incidents.
  • Coordinate or lead permanent solutions/improvements identified during RCA.
Technologies and Strategy Management
  • Progressively self‑study and explore new world‑class technologies through review, alignment, and implementation.
  • Product comparison.
  • Strategy planning for system and operational process enhancement.
  • Evolve or refresh technology to keep systems current.
Requirements
  • Experience with Block/File/Object storage.
  • Hands‑on with storage vendors (IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi).
  • Hands‑on with SAN zoning.
  • Familiarity with hypervisor architectures: VMware, Red Hat, and Oracle.
  • Strong technical background across supported platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Ability to maximize available technology without compromising deliverables and operational risk.
  • Strong risk management awareness related to BNM and Internal Audit compliances.
  • Strong business sense aligned with the bank’s business direction.
  • Up‑to‑date with evolving technology and industry‑standard benchmarks.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in storage administration (Block/File/Object).
  • Proven work with virtualized infrastructure (VMware).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
