The Role:

Lead and manages Investigation team to ensure cases suspicion of non-disclosure or pre-existing conditions are investigated fairly, thoroughly and promptly following agreed timeline.Establish and perform on-going review on investigation guidelines, standard operating procedures and processes to ensure consistency in practice and process efficiencyEstablish rapport with hospitals medical record team in ensuring medical reports are furnished to the Company on a timely basis.Ensure delivery of investigation cases outsourced by GETB following agreed SLA.To review, establish, maintain and update investigative processes in SOP.To ensure investigated cases are reviewed/finalized with decision within set TAT from complete documentation.To monitor and review Investigative Pending cases to ensure that the process is on track and that these cases are finalized within the set TAT.To review investigation process for continuous improvement.To attend to any other tasks assigned from time to time.Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practicesOther responsibilities entailed

The Person:

Possesses a Bachelor Degree in any fields, preferably healthcare related discipline.Minimum 15 years working experience as claims assessor or equivalent and at least 5 years working experience in supervisory capacity.Good management, organizational and leadership skills.Have the right attitude for hard work and able to produce high quality work under pressure.High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
