How you will create an impact

• Own underwriting performance for Auto and Personal Property, driving topline, profitability, and loss ratio.
• Execute growth and corrective actions, ensuring quality underwriting, risk selection, rating, and pricing.
• Apply Underwriting Authority framework and manage within delegation of authority.
• Approve new and renewal underwriting referrals and update guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee operational execution of underwriting processes, including system enhancements, claims/service levels, and customer satisfaction.
• Support audits, develop action plans with stakeholders, and lead new product development.

What you’ll need to succeed

• People management experience in insurance, with expertise in Auto and Personal Property underwriting and portfolio management.
• Passionate leader who builds strong relationships with customers, intermediaries, and broad stakeholders.
• Strategic leadership skills for vision, purpose, results, and effective teams.
• Deep understanding of Auto and Personal Property business model, underwriting methodology, market segmentation, acquisition, and distribution.
