Job summary

A leading auditing firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated individual to conduct audit and tax engagements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of experience in external auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm. Proficiency in the Chinese language is required. The firm offers competitive compensation packages and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct audit and tax engagements for various clients across different industries.
  • Perform risk assessment, testing internal controls, and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Prepare audit working papers and audit reports in compliance with International Standards of Auditing and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and insightful recommendations to clients for enhancing their internal controls and financial performance.
  • Involve in tax computation and assist clients with tax-related matters.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to support their professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in external auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
