Job summary

An accounting firm in Selangor, Malaysia is looking for an Audit Associate to assist in planning and executing audit assignments while coaching junior staff. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. You'll review audit papers, handle client communication, and prepare tax computations. • To review audit working papers and audited financial statements to ensure audit is in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Handling a portfolio of audit engagements.
• To assist in preparation of draft tax computation for engaged audits works.
• Communicate with clients on audit findings and attend to clients’ needs.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field/full or part professional qualification in ACCA, CPA, MICPA.
• Experience in supervising and coaching junior staff members.
• Ability to independently and meeting deadline.
• Basic command of spoken/written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to converse in Mandarin be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with audit software will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
