Job summary

A manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a dedicated professional to manage operations closely with government agencies and internal departments. The role involves improving production efficiency, developing work procedures, and leading projects. Job description

To work closely with government agencies to ensure smooth operation in the company

To work closely in coordination with other internal departments to ensure smooth plant production through good management skills and follow-ups.

To assist in developing and implementing work procedures to eliminate problems and improve efficiency.

Builds the capability for Lean Manufacturing and root cause problem solving and other best practice techniques

To track progress and follow-up independently on projects and help to expedite production pending issues.

To understudy various departments process flow and at the same time give suggestion /idea for improvement.

Maintains project/production schedule by monitoring the progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

Be an effective leader and facilitator within a team with the ability to influence and manage other internal and external suppliers.

Prepares project/production status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.

Work as part of the team and work with others to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Any other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

Diploma and above (Preferred in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering)

Minimum 2 years’ experience.

Management Capability required

Able to work within tight timeline

Familiar with manufacturing process.

International travel as be required with the potential of multiple overnight stays and weekend and evening disruption.

Prefer to have experience working in Metal manufacturing environment before.

May need to work at site if needed.
