Job description

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of Human Resources functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, industrial relations, employee relations, performance management and other HR related support matters.

Handle all matters related to disciplinary, grievances, counselling, staff misconducts, and provide advisory on disciplinary matters.

Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

Initiate, plan, review and implement effective HR policies and procedures to ensure HR practices are constantly benchmarked against best practices are implemented and monitor its compliances and effectiveness.

To plan and execute HR key processes, monitor the team to meet the department objective KPI and monthly reporting deadlines.

Propose and formulate Human Resource policies for the Company.

Develops and maintain human resources system that meets users and management.

To ensure projects/ reports / tasks are completed within the deadline and provide accurate information.

Keep updated on any changes in professional practices, statutory or labour laws, regulations and requirements that may impact company policies and ensure compliance with all Malaysian government legislation and Act and local authorities’ rules and regulations.

Generate monthly related reports, conduct analysis and identify ways to improve the operational efficiency of the department.

Responsible for accurate data collection and analysis.

Responsible for foreign workers’ management/administration.

Handle/manage employees’ disciplinary matter, including, monitor employees’ absenteeism, high MC, Emergency leave, habitual late attendance, to initiate constant meeting with Operations Management team to address this issue.

Initiate disciplinary action, and conduct behavioural counselling session for those disciplinary problem employees, including issue disciplinary letters to manage the problems.

Any other tasks assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Well versed in Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and Industrial laws, prevailing HR practices and legislations.

Responsible, meticulous and possess good working attitude and high accuracy in details.

A self-starter, initiative, independent and possess a high degree of confidentiality.

Good organising skill and able to interact with all level of people.

Results oriented, effective collaborator and communicator with strong problem solving skills.

You will need to manage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by respective stakeholders by responding promptly and follow-up closely to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Possess strong leadership skill and able to drive and lead the team.

Hands on with HR Operations/processes.

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks/projects under tight deadlines.

Knowledge in computerised payroll program or web-based payroll processing/HRMS will be an added advantage.
