About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Procurement Manager ( Manufacturing & Equipment) to support strategic procurement initiatives across our manufacturing and supply chain operations in Southeast Asia. This role will be based in Selangor, Malaysia, and covers indirect procurement and equipment sourcing activities across Malaysia, Singapore, and the broader SEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage CAPEX projects and indirect procurement across SEA (indirect focus: Malaysia and Singapore)

• Strategically coordinate and support regional sourcing plans, procurement strategies, and supplier engagement

• Lead procurement activities for equipment, plant facilities, and related services within industrial and engineering environments

• Leverage SAP systems for procurement execution, reporting, and supplier management

• Conduct cost analysis, RFI/RFQ processes, and supplier negotiations to drive value and cost savings

• Support continuous improvement, compliance, and best practices across the procurement lifecycle

• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional stakeholders in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in procurement, CAPEX projects, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment (pumps, piping, industrial equipment)

• Hands‑on experience with SAP systems

• Strong knowledge of indirect sourcing for manufacturing operations (e.g., plant equipment, facilities, services)

• Proven ability to lead regional procurement initiatives and negotiate with suppliers

• Experience working across Southeast Asia markets is strongly preferred
