What you’ll be doing

• Assist the Security Coordinator in the day‑to‑day management of the hotel’s security operations
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any potential threats or incidents
• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure a safe and secure environment
• Liaise with local authorities and emergency services as required
• Provide comprehensive security briefings and training to hotel staff
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to security incidents and activities
• Support the implementation of security policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events and VIP visits

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff and external stakeholders
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems and access control
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant security regulations and best practices
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
• A valid security guard license or certification is highly desirable
