A minimum of 5-7 years related regional working experience in specialties ingredients in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or technical products.
Qualification: Tertiary education in related discipline i.e., Business; Chemistry; Biotechnology or Food Technology.
Responsibilities
- Competently develop and manage agents and customers in assigned regions.
- Formulate effective sales channels and marketing activities to increase sales activities in local and international markets.
- Business development of new products and drive new product development projects and innovative marketing concepts.
- Regular reporting and reviewing of the strategic and operational sales & marketing plans to drive sales and revenue.
- Update the Management on market intelligence and analysis from time to time.
- Assist in annual budget setting and formulation of marketing plan.
- Travel and meet customers and represent the company at trade fairs and events.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary education in related discipline i.e., Business; Chemistry; Biotechnology or Food Technology.
- A minimum of 5-7 years related regional working experience in specialties ingredients in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or technical products.
- Proven track record in sales and marketing. Knowledge of marketing strategy and international sales channels will be added advantages.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, planning, organisational, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and use the appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analysing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia and any additional language skills are an advantage.
- Possess a strong analytical mind, competent to formulate marketing strategies, problem solving and good business acumen.
- Proficiency in foreign languages are a plus point.
