Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager who lives and breathes Enlightened Hospitality. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading daily operations while championing a culture where we care for each other first, so our team can authentically care for our guests, community, and — ultimately — the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help cultivate a warm, inclusive team environment by coaching, mentoring, and developing staff — recognizing that happy, empowered employees are the foundation of exceptional hospitality.
  • Oversee smooth front- and back-of-house operations, including opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, and vendor coordination, while ensuring technical excellence in service delivery.
  • Lead by example to create genuine emotional connections with guests: listen actively, anticipate needs, respond with generosity, and make every person feel truly welcomed and “on our side.”
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns with empathy and ownership, turning moments into positive, lasting memories.
  • Support staff training focused on both skills and hospitality mindset — emphasizing emotional intelligence, teamwork, and the belief that hospitality is how we make people feel, not just what we deliver.
  • Collaborate on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, quality, and community engagement.
  • Assist with administrative duties ( reporting, compliance ) to keep the restaurant thriving sustainably.
