Job description

The Assistant QA Engineer will be responsible in supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure our products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the in-process quality control system is effectively implemented in production.
  • Analyse weekly and monthly rejection report and execute quality improvement plan.
  • Ensure all inspection, measuring and testing equipment are properly controlled and calibrated.
  • Maintain calibration records including accurate records of quality control tests, inspection results and compliance reports.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality inspection systems.
  • Identify training needs of employees, carry out training program regularly, evaluate the training effectiveness.
  • Implement 5S and Kaizen activities continuously.
  • Establish or review safety work procedures in order to ensure all works performed are in compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
  • Assist in internal and external audits to ensure quality systems and processes comply with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates or 1 year experience in quality control/quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of ISO systems and implementation.
  • Working knowledge required for Microsoft office.
