Basic salary: between RM6,210.00 to RM14,370.00 (based on experience)

Scope: As an IT Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of the next generation of IT professionals. Your responsibilities will span across teaching, curriculum development, research, and community engagement, aiming to deliver an outstanding educational experience. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about both technology and education, eager to contribute to the academic and professional development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and update comprehensive CS courses that reflect the latest industry trends and academic standards.
  • Teaching Excellence: Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions across a variety of CS subjects, incorporating cutting‑edge technologies and software.
  • Student Assessment: Create and evaluate examinations, assignments, and projects to gauge student knowledge and skills, providing constructive feedback.
  • Research Contribution: Conduct and publish impactful research in the CS field and supervise student research projects and theses.

Minimum Qualifications

Language Qualifications

All candidates must have obtained:

  • Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government (for Malaysian citizens).
  • IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4. Candidates without any of these qualifications will be required to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test.
