• Assist production manager to oversee the overall manufacturing processes to monitor and track overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in terms of availability, performance and quality in utilization of man power, machine efficiency and materials in production.
• Identify operational losses, benchmarking progress, improve the productivity and yet reduce the cost of overall production operations
• To carry out troubleshooting in machinery issue or breakdown.
• Review production documentation or procedure periodically to ensure its suitability and effectiveneInitiate/coordinate kaizen project for production dept.
• To coordinate with QA/Engineering dept on quality or machinery performance issue to ensure effective operation control and good quality product deliver to customer.
• Set up training program to ensure competency of production personnel.
• To prepare weekly/monthly report for management review
• To involve in ad-hoc project/task assigned by superior.

Skills and personalities:

• Minimum Bachelor/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Automation/any related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in fast paced manufacturing
• Good knowledge in machine maintenance and troubleshooting/working schedule arrangements
