As an Assistant Planning / Planning Manager at Unisteel Technology (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the company's production planning and scheduling processes. This full-time position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and will involve ensuring the efficient coordination and utilization of resources to meet the company's manufacturing objectives.

Job Responsibility:

• On time Delivery - Overseeing customer commitment Plan weekly to ensure right and accurate commitment share on time as per customer request timeline.
• Maintain heathy hub DOI - Follow up with planner to ensure on time delivery as per commitment to maintain heathy hub DOI.
• MPS planning - Review overall MPS plan for production and procurement to support customer on time delivery and material planning.
• Aging review and control - Review and take action on aging WIP and FG.
• Raw screw purchase and pulling plan - Delivery plan to Numazu and Unisteel India on raw screw purchase, ensure on time delivery from raw screw supplier and right part and right qty purchase.
• Customer centric - Quick respond to customer inquiry (Internal and external). Review customer inventory update weekly to ensure right and accurate inventory declaration share on time as per customer request time line.
• Production and OSP planning - Oversee Fastener, Surface treatment & OSP Production Controller for RS connection to Surface treatment to ensure proper flow for inventory Oracle vs physical goods in Fastener division. Ensure Fastener inventory is properly stored and recorded and accurate.

Duties

• Daily review pull signal into customer shipment plan. Take immediate necessary action to support and alert or feedback to sales or customer if observed any abnormal.
• Close monitor & analyse for customer weekly forecast Vs actual pull, alert sales or customer if observed big variance or abnormal pull.
• Monitoring customer outstanding PO, follow up with sales or customer to ensure PO qty always sufficient to support shipment.
• Review and ensure Weekly inventory and commitment declaration accuracy updated to customer.
• Review MPS planning for production and raw material preparation. Ensure plan the right part and quantity. Take necessary action when observing abnormal.
• Daily review, meeting to track actual output Vs plan to support shipment plan. Work with production owner, internal support teams to ensure on time delivery and customer fulfilment.
• Control outsourcing RS pulling. Review and approve the weekly pulling plan to ensure no over pull or purchase (Just pull or purchase the right part and qty needed in right timing) to prevent high inventory holding.
• Weekly meeting to review, monitor and control inventory build and aging inventory. Take action and report to manager immediate if observed abnormality.
• Assist for RTV&RMA activity, liaise with internal or external teams to complete the task within the committed timeline.
• Close monitor to part under EOL or EOL radar to ensure minimum exposure or long aging, alert sales or customer if observed any abnormality.
• Support, lead and coach PMC & Controller on day-to-day issues.
• Ensure proper flow for inventory Oracle vs physical goods in Fastener division.
• Check & ensure loose inventory in Surface Treatment is properly stored and recorded.
