Job description
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Resource Planning – Ensure adequate manpower, machine readiness, and material availability based on sales forecasts and production schedules.
  • Operational Risk Management – Implement preventive actions for manpower gaps, machine readiness, overseas part lead time, and rework/reject control.
  • Cross‑Department Coordination – Work with mfg, powder coating, QC, and planning teams to minimize upstream bottlenecks affecting packing timelines.
  • ERP Governance – Maintain 100% accuracy of BOMs, WIP, and output data; lead troubleshooting with PD and analytics teams.
  • SOP Compliance & Execution – Enforce packing standards and procedures, ensuring supervisors and leaders execute tasks correctly and consistently.
  • Daily Output & Performance Control – Monitor packing progress, ensure targets and completion dates are met, and lead daily problem‑solving sessions.
  • Manpower Development – Drive training programs, cross‑training, and succession planning to build future packing leaders.
  • Cost & Wastage Management – Review wastage, material usage, and packing labour efficiency to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Reporting & Improvement – Report packing quality issues, WIP risks, labour cost trends, and efficiency insights.
  • SOP & Process Improvement – Review and enhance SOPs quarterly, identifying automation opportunities to reduce errors and increase productivity.
