Summary
Oversee a defined area of Boost Juice Bars outlets and ensure quality store operations are maintained, consistently providing amazing friendly service. Lead and empower outlet team members in a positive VIBE manner while maximizing financial contribution. Interact between the support centre team and field members to ensure efficient rollouts of systems, procedures and programmes.
Duties and Responsibilities

2. Store Operations
- Ensures all stores team members open 10 minutes prior to scheduled opening times and close 10 minutes after scheduled closing times.
- Conducts regular store visits to assess operational performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensures Area Managers (AM)/Multi‑Unit‑Managers (MUM) complete a Store Visitation Report (SVR) during every visit.
- Supervises and supports AMs / MUMs in day‑to‑day operations to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Coaches and supports the implementation of outlet operational issues.
- Compiles and analyses operational data for improvement.
- Conducts weekly and monthly meetings with AMs / MUMs to identify and utilise opportunities to increase sales, control labour cost, manage inventory and cost of goods sold.
- Evaluates results of customer feedback system and provides guidelines for improvement.
- Provides input to outlet development for potential real‑estate sites, store layouts and customer flow.
- Monitors financial performance and supports area management in the development of corrective action plans, financial and sales forecasts.
- Evaluates, coaches and supports the outlets and areas’ performance against established targets and improved like‑for‑like sales (L4L).
- Monitors compliance of outlet purchasing and expenditure within the policy limits.
- Ensures AMs / MUMs conduct monthly cash audit for all outlets and maintain all outlet administration records.
- Engages with each store manager to drive all company KPIs.
- Ensures the consistency of all cash and safe handling procedures are practiced at all outlets.
- Ensures that all outlets strictly adhere to the company’s cash handling policy, and that daily deposits are consistently made to the bank.

3. Team Leadership and People Development
- Evaluates, coaches and supports the outlets and area performance against established targets (WIP sales, EBITDA, labour, COGS, exceptional report).
- Ensures all company policies and procedures, systems and programmes are communicated to area members and monitored for compliance.
- Ensures all outlets use the company Boost E‑Network: BEN system for online training and communication, Operational Procedure Guide (OPG) for in‑store skills learning, training and development.
- Ensures area BEN training completion achieves company KPI percentages.
- Selects, trains and develops competent management members for the area.
- Recruits, trains and mentors area managers, store managers and staff to foster a positive and high‑performing team culture.
- Conducts performance reviews and provides ongoing coaching to enhance team members’ skills.

4. Works as a member of the Team
- Actively seeks opportunities to work as a Team.
- Acts in a professional manner at all times.
- Encourages the “Boost Vibe” and a fun atmosphere with all Team Members while maintaining work standards, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures all messages from the Operations Manager are accurately communicated to all outlet Team Members.
- Promotes the fun, friendly and outgoing work environment in the store and ensures top‑quality customer service is given by all Team Members to all customers.
- Is open and honest in all dealings with Team Members, Head Office Employees, Managers, customers and suppliers.

5. Facilities and Safety Management
- Ensure and monitor security and safety procedures.
- Preventive maintenance programs are carried out as scheduled.
- Outlets’ appearance and equipment are maintained to Boost Juice Bars standards according to the Operational Procedure Guide (OPG).
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Area Manager / Assistant Operations Manager in the related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain operations records.
- Strong communication skills to all levels – Operations Manager, Upper Management, Support Centre, staff and customers.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a fast‑paced, continually changing environment.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and develop and implement process improvements and SOPs within the Operations team.
- Ability to build, lead and manage a team in a fun environment whilst driving sales.
